Barz Optics are seeking a US distributor to market its range of Polarized Sunglasses throughout the USA with the possibility of distribution in the Caribbean.

According to Kevin Barr, MD and founder, Barz Optics' profile in the US is growing, supported by online and magazine advertising and displaying at significant boat shows.

'We are looking for a company who we can work closely together with and who preferably has an established sales network and account base,' explains Kevin. 'Barz may be one of the world's smallest international sunglasses companies, but we are certainly one of the most innovative.'

The Barz range features acetate, acetate photochromic, acetate with non polarized bi focals, polycarbonate, polycarbonate bi focals, polycarbonate photochromic (infused with melanin) and glass polarized lenses.

'Our range of frames feature (true) floating styles for fresh and salt water with varied price points,' says Kevin, adding that Barz Optics are currently sold in 16 countries around the world, predominantly into the marine, sailing, fishing, optical and surf markets.

The company has a strong commitment to marketing in various markets, including online with Sail-World and MarineBusiness-World, paddling.net and 18footer.tv, in print publications such as Sail Magazine, Cruising World, Sailing World, Lat 38, Spinsheet, Yachts and Yachting and Sail Gear Guide, and at major boat shows in Australia and the US, including the Annapolis Sail Show and Pacific Sail Expo.

The brand also sponsors various sailing teams around the world and supplies polarized sunglasses for the NSW Marine Rescue.
