Zodiac celebrates 74 years as the name in inflatables

The name in inflatable craft since 1934, Zodiac has spent the past 74 years innovating. Now, as the market becomes more crowded with competitors, the pioneer has evolved to meet a new era of consumer demands, while retaining the hallmarks of quality and innovation the brand was built on.

According to Dino Tantaro, National Manager - Recreational Marine, Zodiac Group Australia, the brand has undergone some major changes since January 2013, reinforcing its French heritage and positioning itself for investment in R&D.

'With that came a new logo and new corporate identity, as well as a focus on the larger models previously unseen in Australia. These will show Zodiac as a primary boat, the alternative to a tinny in this country, up to 7.6m powered by 250hp engines.'

At the 2013 Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show, Dino Tantaro explained what makes Zodiac stand above newcomers to the segment, how the brand has evolved and what's ahead as the company prepares to celebrate a milestone 175 years in 2014.
