Catering to visitors seeking the premium experience with ‘access all areas’ entitlements, the SCIBS VIP pass includes exclusive access to the comfort of the SCIBS VIP Lounge, valet parking, food and beverages catered by the InterContinental Sanctuary Cove Resort and an abundance of luxury extras courtesy of Mulpha and SCIBS partners.

Sponsored by Maritimo, with EuroMarque Maserati Brisbane, Ocean and Sails Magazines as partners, Mulpha Sanctuary Cove head of events, Johan Hasser said the return of the VIP Lounge was a testament to its popularity in 2013, along with the invaluable networking opportunities the lounge provided.

'The VIP pass was a concept we saw flourish at last year’s show which provided serious shoppers and business visitors a chance to relax or conduct business with similar-minded patrons, so it only seemed fitting to see it return for the second year,' said Mr Hasser.

In 2014, SCIBS has partnered with Translink to offer free train travel to and from the Boat Show on all regular Queensland Rail City Network trains when users display a pre-purchased ticket to the event. Free ‘Park ‘n’ Ride’ services will operate for all self-drive visitors from Helensvale.

The 2014 Boat Show will showcase a wide variety of international boating brands, products and technologies on display alongside the superb backdrop of the award-winning Sanctuary Cove marina and The Marine Village.

Offering something for the whole family, SCIBS will also feature a full program of live entertainment, cooking demonstrations and seminars as well as a Kids Zone and Women on Water program throughout the four-day event.
