Riviera Has 5000 reasons to celebrate

by Stephen Milne on 2 Oct 2012
For over 32 years Riviera has exported thousands of new Rivieras to boating markets around the globe Stephen Milne
A momentous and history-making occasion will mark another major milestone for Riviera who will launch its 5000th boat at a special gala dinner celebration held later this year.

Riviera’s state-of-the-art Coomera facility on Queensland’s Gold Coast will be transformed into a five-star entertainment precinct as Australia’s largest and most awarded luxury boat builder hosts a celebration like no other.

Riviera’s director of brand and communications Stephen Milne is extending an invitation to all boating enthusiasts who would like to become part of Riviera’s maritime history to join in the fun.

'Launching our 5000th boat is a major accomplishment for Riviera and we intend to celebrate this significant achievement with a spectacular night of fine food, entertainment and a stunning parade of Riviera’s past models before unveiling our 5000th model,' Mr Milne said.

'At Riviera we are immensely proud of our rich 32-year history, our humble beginnings, and our growth into Australia’s iconic boating brand. To have launched 5000 boats in the size range of 27 to 75 feet in 32 years is a true testament to the Riviera brand, our blue water heritage, our innovative designs, our quality craftsman and our extremely loyal owners.

'It is an honour to host such an historic occasion and we encourage those who want to be part of Riviera history to secure their tickets online or through their Riviera dealer as soon as possible. Tickets are limited so I urge Riviera enthusiasts to act quickly to secure their front row seat and become part of Riviera’s maritime history.

'I can assure Riviera enthusiasts that we will stage a very different style of event for this special evening. There will be an alfresco dining experience with a 100 metre long table and a full night club created to dance the night away, along with a few other Riviera surprises.'

Riviera’s ‘5000 Reasons to Celebrate’ gala dinner will be held on November 2 to coincide with the Gold Coast International Marine Expo at Riviera’s state-of-the-art Coomera facility, 50 Waterway Drive, Coomera. Tickets cost AUD $130.00 and are available for purchase online at www.riviera.com.au or through your local dealer.

Riviera offers 15 different models from 36 to 75 feet across four model series Flybridge, Sport Yacht, Offshore Express and the new SUV collection.

Riviera also offers the bespoke Motor Yacht line, Belize Motoryachts. Inspired by classic luxury details and timeless style, Belize Motoryachts has recently released the new 52 foot Sedan and Daybridge models.
