Performance Boating Sales are delighted to confirm that they have sold the first of the new Sydney 36CR’s, to be completed in April, to a Japanese owner who has been suitably impressed by the first few Sydney 32 OD’s that have been sailing in Tokyo Bay.

This first boat will sport the bow-pole factory option for asymmetric spinnakers as recently seen on the Sydney 47CR 'Wot’s Next' which won its IRC class in this years 'Sydney-Hobart' with PBS partner Ron Jacobs as tactician.

The new 36CR retains the Sydney 36 hull which has proved so successful, but with a completely new deck and cockpit. The cockpit is now almost identical to its bigger sister the 39CR and the new deck design follows the trend of the other CR’s with large stylish windows which brings abundant light into the interior.

And the best news about the new Sydney 36CR is the price, which at $271,000 sailaway including instruments and sails is extraordinary value. This new production yacht retains the quality and performance for which Sydney Yachts are renowned and is an ideal family cruiser/racer.
