Doyle Sails Australia and Doyle Sails New Zealand will be exhibiting at the upcoming Sydney International Boat Show (held 1-5 August) on Stand 142. On offer is a boat show deal of 20% off all retail price sails, valid for orders placed this week only*.
Doyle prides itself on producing market-leading performance focused sails for cruising and racing yachts of all sizes, from the smallest harbour racer to the biggest superyacht. Make sure you come by the stand to talk to one of our team about any sail requirements you have.
Recent race success for Doyle-powered boats includes a sterling performance in the 2013 Transpac race, with a Division 1 win for Invisible Hand and line honours for Syd Fischer’s Ragamuffin 100, which both had a new Doyle Stratis inventories on board. David Witt, Ragamuffin sailing master, praised their new sails, saying: 'Using Stratis on our 100 had a major performance increase that was unexpected. The large weight reduction in working gear, combined with larger and better shaped sails had the boat sailing well above its polars, numbers which we had not previously seen on the 100. We will certainly now be using Stratis on all our Ragamuffin yachts.'
Earlier this year Sean Langman set a new Sydney-Hobart record with his impressive Orma 60 trimaran Team Australia, which had a brand new Doyle Stratis main on board for the attempt. Extremely happy with the Stratis main, Langman said: 'Without doubt the new Doyle Stratis offshore mainsail provided to Team Australia was key to our success. The new main was bent on three days prior to our team’s assault on the Sydney Hobart world mark. The main fitted beautifully and performed straight out of the bag. I am looking forward to further adding Stratis to our wardrobe.' Team Australia will be on display at SIBS at berth 49.
