Chaparral’’s new H20 range will be a star attraction at SCIBS. Chaparral Australia
Chaparral Australia will launch its hot new entry level range of 18 and 19 foot Sports and ski/fish bowriders dubbed 'H20' at Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show, May 24-27 on Queensland’s Gold Coast.
Following the September 2011 release in the US where over one thousand H20’s were sold in just three months; demand has been so strong worldwide that Chaparral had to delay the Australian launch until May.
'We have been working through the specs and pricing to ensure the right combination and packages are on offer and especially at the right price' Says Scott O’Hare from Chaparral Australia.
'One of the significant differences between H20 and our competitors will be the nationally advertised pricing that takes all of the guess work and stress out of buying a new boat; Customers will know they have done a fantastic deal regardless of who they deal with, we have been very keen on the pricing and the boats themselves are packed with more standard features than any boat in the class,' says O’Hare.
Chaparral have partnered with Mackay trailers on the H20 range and can offer an 18 foot sports bow rider for a base price of $35,499 on the Aussie galvanised trailer with features such as bimini, bow and cockpit covers, wide band hull colour, auto bilge pump, twin bucket seats, premium upholstery, Stereo with USB connectivity, power steering, built in esky, 316 Stainless deck hardware, safety gear and registrations.
O’Hare is confident Sanctuary Cove is the ideal place to relaunch the brand and show the new range to Queensland buyers. 'We are reintroducing the Chaparral Brand to Queensland,' he explains. 'We have the latest most innovative designs and engineering in the world. SCIBS will highlight to the buying public these attributes. Although we intend to sell boats directly from the show (particularly the H20s) we mainly seek to show buyers something new, different to what they have been seeing in the showrooms for the last few years.'
Chaparral will show nine vessels in total from 18 to 33 feet, making them one of the most significant exhibitors this year, and as a first time exhibitor, committing to a comprehensive showcase of the brand.
'Apart from our professional display where we will be launching the new H20 range at SCIBS onto the Australian market, we will be offering show special pricing across the range, carrying out a whole week of test drives after the show and we have a few fun PR events happening at the same time!'
The brand message for SCIBS is: 'Chaparral has a solid reputation worldwide for quality, innovation and performance, we built saltwater tough boats,' says O’Hare.
Chaparral is also celebrating the appointment of Dylan Lopez from Sirocco Marine North is as its Queensland Dealer.
'We choose Dylan because he has a rare combination of youthful enthusiasm and a professional attitude across the board; his premises are impressive as is his overall approach to customer service. We were looking for someone to grow with us and Dylan and his team are the right fit.'
