ASMEX confirms senior financial expert as speaker

The ASMEX organisers have announced that Darryl Conroy, Financial Analyst of Suncorp has confirmed his attendance to speak at the Conference regarding Australia’s economic situation and his predictions for the future.

A key focus when developing the ASMEX programme has been to ensure this conference offers a high level of up to date valuable information to business owners and delegates and to ensure that the time invested to attend the conference exceeds expectations.

AIMEX CEO MaryAnne Edwards reiterated this by saying 'in the current climate it is imperative that companies are exposed to good quality information to assist with making informed decisions, we are confident Darryl along with all other speakers within the programme will provide this.'

Darryl Conroy has over fifteen years experience in the field of finance and treasury. Darryl is Suncorp Bank’s Financial Markets Analyst within the International Trade & Financial Market’s team in Brisbane, and has been with Suncorp since 2004.

In this role, Darryl keeps Suncorp’s Business Customers and staff up-to-date on market trends and economic analysis on interest rates, foreign exchange, and commodity markets.

Previous roles include the management of a Corporate Treasury for an insurance and banking corporation.

Darryl is a member of the Certified Practising Accountants (CPA), and the Australian Financial Markets Association (AFMA). Darryl has also completed post graduate studies with the Securities Institute of Australia.

Cup Spy Apr 22: Kiwis stress test in 30kts
Day 7 with ETNZ sailing Taihoro AC75 on the Hauraki Gulf Emirates Team New Zealand started the new week with a courageous display of heavy air sailing in their new AC75. They emerged with no apparent damage, despite pushing the AC75 at race pace in an offshore breeze that was recorded as gusting at over 30kts.
