AIMEX abreast of global industry opportunities

by AIMEX on 4 Oct 2013
Club Marine Mandurah Boat Show AIMEX
Ensuring the Australian International Marine Export Group is abreast of industry activity and opportunities for their members the AIMEX group's event calendar is dynamic with presence at key shows in Europe, New Zealand, the US and Australia over the coming months.

Early 2014 will also see significant presence in Asia with four shows in markets in this region planned.

Supporting their members in the west of Australia and maintaining relationships with key industry stakeholders and the Western Australian government, AIMEX & Superyacht Australia will have presence at the Club Marine Mandurah Boat Show next week.

Superyacht Australia will address the Marine WA networking event updating industry regarding upcoming opportunities, the outlook for the sector and inroads made this year. Given their proximity to Asia another key focus of the visit will be ensuring the industry understands the opportunities around participating in the Superyacht Australia Asian Engagement Project and Trade Mission.

Realising the synergies between the New Zealand and Australian marine industries and also recognising the opportunities to do business together AIMEX & Superyacht Australia had presence at last weeks Auckland International Boat Show.

2013 has been a particularly positive year with the development of the relationship between the two industry bodies (AIMEX & NZ Marine) with NZ Marine’s CEO Peter Busfield attending the ASMEX Conference organised by AIMEX earlier in the year and AIMEX CEO MaryAnne Edwards attending the NZ Marine’s equivalent conference.

AIMEX also has strong ties with New Zealand Trade & Enterprise having developed this relationship over many years. Having a team member attend this show has further enhances the organisations knowledge of this market and relationships consequently ensuring greater value of information and benefits available to their members.

Last week AIMEX & Superyacht Australia CEO MaryAnne Edwards accompanied a number of Australia’s superyacht businesses at the Monaco Yacht Show meeting with a significant proportion of the global superyacht industry and making some great inroads into securing global industry identities to attend the ASMEX conference in May next year who are guaranteed to provide outstanding value to delegates and members.

Before the years end AIMEX will have also undertaken the organisation of the Australian Pavilion at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show and the Marine Equipment Trade Show (METS).

Information regarding participating in any of these shows can be accessed at www.aimex.asn.au
